Services

  • Geospatial Entity Object Code (Geocode®): The Geocode® is a geographic coordinate conversion process and geospatial information representation that converts geographic coordinates and time information into a single all-numeric geospatial coordinate.

  • Geospatial Media Encoder (GME): The GME encodes geospatial information onto each video frame or field. The encoding can be performed at the time of video acquisition with GFI's Geospatial Media Recorder (GMR). The geospatial data can be placed onto the data track for each frame or field of the video in real time or during post-production. The GMR uses Global Positioning System (GPS) information, the Geospatial Media Encoder for recording the Geocode, and an optical referencing system to identify the geospatial location of an entity or object being acquired, not the cameras’ location.

  • Geocoding Web Services: Global Findability provides reseller, prosumers and consumers a way to register and retrieve location Geocode®.  The geocoding registries will provide geocoding of the following location reference points:

    • Click here to access Global Findability's Geospatial Web Service.
    • Postal Addressing – a registry of international postal addresses that are geocoded with Geocode®. The registry provides global postal addressing based on a the geocoding location address.

    • Internet Geospatial Addressing – a registry of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses that are geocoded with GEOCode. The registry provide for the IP address location based on geocoding. It will be used to provide for non-repudiation security for e-commerce security.

    • E911 Geospatial Addressing – a registry of E911 call center location addressing that are geocoded with GEOCode for use by PSAP and other emergency support center and operations.

    • VOIP Geospatial Addressing – a registry of Internet Protocol (IP) addresses locations that are geocoded with Geocode®. The registry provides the IP address location based on geocoding for use by PSAP and other emergency support operations to identify the location of VOIP calls.

    • RFID Geospatial Addressing – a registry of the location of RFID origination and destination locations that are geocoded with Geocode®.  The registry will provide RFID users a single source for determining the location of RFID devices based on geospatial location.

    • Text Messaging Geospatial Addressing – a registry of network providers and registered text messaging that are geospatially referenced.

    • Anti-Piracy Geospatial Digital Media Rights Addressing – a registry of geospatial origination location and destination location embedding into digital media to identify origination and destination of potential pirated media to include software, movies and music.

    • Telematics Addressing – a registry of the location of telematic origination and destination locations that are geocoded with GEOCode.  The registry will provide telematic users a single source for determining the location of telematic messaging and traffic.

    • Geospatial Video Mapping – a registry of geospatially referenced video of streets and features that can be used by mapping providers to provide horizontal visual orientation of map locations.

    • Geospatial Video Route Analysis – a registry of geospatially referenced video maps of routes used by all transportation modals. The video maps will provide a virtual video of a route instead of two-dimensional graphics or overhead satellite imagery.

    • Geospatial Utilities Location Identification – a registry of geospatially referenced utilities systems components coded with Geocode®.

  • This service is provided as a web service via a service-oriented architecture (SOA). Security access to registries will be provided by a PKI infrastructure based on SAML and DSS specifications.
