Technologies
Global Findability has technologies to assist in
locating anything, anytime, anywhere. The technologies include:
- Geocode® - A geospatial entity object code
that identifies a specific location. The code can also include other
geospatial information.
- Geospatial Media Encoder (GME) - The GME
encodes geospatial information onto each frame or field of video. The
geocoding can be performed at the time of video acquisition. The
geospatial data can be placed onto the data track for each frame or
field of the video in real time or during post-production. The GMR uses
Global Positioning System (GPS) information for geocoding the Geocode®
location of an entity or object being visually acquired.
- Geospatial Media Recorder (GMR) - A recorder that captures objects and
entities and identifies the location of the items by embedding GPS
location information into the video stream. The GMR uses Global
Positioning System (GPS) information, the Geospatial Media Encoder, and
an optical referencing system to identify the geospatial location of an
entity or object being acquired, not the cameras’ location.
- Geospatial Media Information Processing System (GMIPS)
- A systems that manages geospatially referenced media over information
and telecommunication networks.
